Looking Within

Looking up into the night's canvas,
all is silent, but a melody moves inside
taking a breath into the cool air,
as wonder drifts into my soul.
I can feel my spirit expand,
running wild through the meadow,
amid the wide open spaces of nature,
the breeze, like silk brushing across my flesh
this is what heaven feels like
as I lay into the grass,
my eyes quietly drift to the shapes
the heavens made...
As I softly close my eyes,
I can still feel it in the air,
inching around me in waves.
Even as the sky is dark,
besides the light of painted stars,
I feel the sunshine growing inside of me,
and I sense a new reality...
I am a part of everything, for eternity,
and everything in it's vastness,
lies inside of me.

i like the extensive vocabulary you use instead of reusing the same things over again like alot of ppl do you have a plethora of words very nice
