Astro

A Poem by Terrance
"

My collective thoughts

"

Astro

When being alone with my thoughts I’m diabolical

I see things within the improbable

I close my eyes and think of the sensible

Then I see stars that end as the inevitable

Chaos is my specialty

I don't understand if this was meant to be

The world that see always lied to me

The God that pray too has always ignored me

I fall deep into entropy, to understand the fertility of my morality

That life’s simplicity is the key to longevity

That love and hate is the same between you and me

I sometimes take a leap of faith to get closer to the ones that I can relate

I’m not good with emotions

I push people away out of frustration

That I fear that no one will get me that my inner self always wants to fight me

That it is destructive and corruptive and it’s all around me

That demons come in the form of my insecurities to drag me away to depravity

I know there is hope that when I sit and think of the impossible

I remember when I was a kid that it was all possible

When I use to play pretend it became astronomical

That it helped me understand gaining knowledge is irresistible

I am Astro
