Yes, and the time came when we were able to fly better than the birds, and even to the Moon. Now the goal is to achieve artificial consciousness, an artificial mind. If our artificial mind is better than our own, then what becomes of us? What if this artificial mind is intelligent enough to advance our technology a thousand years into the future in only one year? Is a technological revolution on the near horizon the likes of which are beyond human imagination? Is the world that we know now only the obsolete shadow of one that’s yet to be?

You are right Aethereal, you have made very interesting and valid points, your interpretations are very important and from there a new opinion has arised,

that maybe imagination is not more important than knowledge, for example some persons could imagine things that are lies because they don't have knowledge to the true facts.

For example persons that dont have access to newspapers or persons that dont have access to the internet.

Since the original brains, ours, evolved over eons. Then my guess is that an artificial one would just evolve within a massively parallel computer if it contained the proper Evolution Algorithm. Once it evolved up to a point it would take over its own evolution, and then advance by leaps and bounds. It short time it might be the most intelligent being in our solar system. It would need to evolve emotions to give it a reason to continue to exist. In many ways, it would be as we are, but much more intelligent. Computers speed up the process of evolution where billions of years of evolution take place in a matter of hours.

My dear, our spirits are always with us, however many of us really don't know how to bring the poor thing in use, people like you who bring to our attentions, individuals like Leonardo, was also a human like us how come he created so many masterpieces which we are still studying. In my mind, it sounds like wrestling with ambition.
At first the dreams appear dead and fruitless, and only passion from this struggle creates an outlet from the inner-conflicts. That's at least what I see. . . Gotta love interpretations, lol

Imagination helps us believe that a thing such as knowledge can exist, especially in a world that seems to operate without much reason.
