Angel of Death
A Poem by Aethereal
Poem about the Angel of Death.
Angel of Death
She's a shadow on the wall projecting a fervent plea, a deep void where light must fall like a stone upon the sea.
Watch her dance, then watch her crawl flapping wings so fancy-free morphing large, then morphing small, an angelic fantasy.
She writes with a jagged scrawl dark notes that she sends to me with sharp letters that enthrall spelling out her dark decree.
She consumes me overall as a lock engulfs a key. I'm lured underneath her pall. There's no better place to be.
