In Which Your Eyes Behold

In Which Your Eyes Behold

A Poem by Correspondence

She

Oh, lovely painter
I still want you so
But tell me
Can you love a skeleton?
Will you paint my grey life
Brilliant blues
To remind me of something in which your eyes behold?

He

Oh, sweet poet
Don't leave me
Instead I'll paint your dead skin
With every color I have
And when I run out,
You will see
Your world can be grey
And you're still beautiful
To me

Please note that my poetry is sad. Telling me to "move on" from my issues is not really a positive critique regarding my writing :) But, I am open to comment. Thank you for the understanding. ~Correspondence
