My Confession

My Confession

A Poem by Aiden Alyx

R.I.P. Timothy Ryan Peelman 12/10/94 - 3/10/11

I can see my breath

in the air around me

the aftershocks you left behind

continue to astound me

your name uttered by ones you love

the tears come on a whim

i feel unable to vocalize

that i still love you tim

i cannot sleep i cannot dream

to be honest i cannot seem

to find the words that could show

that simply put, i'll never let go

so many things i kept inside

things that i never said

things like "i love you" or how you could

always turn me the brightest red

inside my head your smile stays

continually your voice rings

you always were the nicest guy

like you walked out of a dream

you still mean more than you could know

even though you couldn't stay

everyone struggles at a time

but we all loved you anyway

i've finally found closure

but i still want to hold your hand

i want you to still feel loved

and help you understand

the 3 little words i miss you

even though they seem so slim

even though i cant kiss you

you'll always be my tim <3
