A Poem by alan khan

the fermentation of hate.

..

when i see the world i see a vast
and lush
and green planet.

a wonderful sphere of warm
and robust energy

housing wonderful creatures whom
i share deep attachment with.. all the same.

/

when i see the world i see a vast
and empty
and barren play ground.

a void where inspiration may have been,

but instead boring uninteresting
and mindless children frolic.

not worthy of any amount of respect or dignity.

these creatures become my play things..

for i am cursed with knowledge from centuries old and
futures untraveled.

I don't know the answer. The people of the USA need the energy and drive of the kids of the late sixties and early seventies. They raised cane, create music and ended the USA desire to be involved in every war. Kent State massacre change the USA.
"but instead boring uninteresting
and mindless children frolic."
The world need education and children to have a fair chance. I like the ending to a excellent poem. Always good to read your word. Made me think.
