good old fashion misery.

good old fashion misery.

A Poem by alan khan

good ol' icey chill
coupled with isolation.
boiling anger and madness
the enjoyment of agitation.

it's not so far you know
from the tyranny we've grown to love
yes peace is healthy and appreciated
but more often it isn't enough.

ice surrounding heartache
and steel hardened reserve.
not preferring warm and content
over unavoidable hurt.

how i've missed the paranoia
the laughing at my pain.
too long have i disliked this
greeted these feelings only with shame.

but at least for now
the filth grease and chill remain
for life truly is boring
when gone through completely sane.
