Another realm

Another realm

A Poem by Alan Mark Maynes

I grip hold cause it's getting intense
Thinking of reality is losing it's sense
I sit so calm and so placid
And now I am melting like battery acid
Things start to change and things start to move
I feel the music and I feel a new groove
This state is altering my mind
And now my thoughts begin to wind
A different dimension, my senses have crossed
I thought I was found but now I am lost
A new perception, I see the vibrations
I see the trails, I feel the sensation
First I am big, now I am small
In a wonderland, and one with all
Things start to spin, things start to twirl
I look at the clock, and time feels so still
On a roller coaster, in a raft
Up and down, with an endless laugh
I try to describe it with precision
Like a gypsy, I see the crystal vision
Spiritually I swim through this parallel universe
I meditate with the trees and I am one with the earth
I have died and I have felt my rebirth
