I Had A Dream

I had a dream 
Upon this dream I chanced upon a girl so fair 
In this dream she had eyes as green as emeralds 
I had a dream 
Upon this dream I saw this girl who made my heart beat fast as fast 
In this dream she had a smile to brighten the dark and lighten your heart 
I had a dream 
Upon this dream I walked upon a beach as pure as a starlit night 
I reached my hand out for this girl so fair 
Yet no closer did I come to this fairy tale come true 
It was a dream as dreams are 
When I lay my head down perchance I will meet this girl so fair 
I had a dream 
Upon this dream I shall meet this girl 
The girl with the smile and the emerald green eyes 
Perchance this dream will come true 
Upon this dream life begins a new 
Upon this dream 
Upon this dream....
