where eyes crawl ...

where eyes crawl ...

A Poem by Pema Dorje
"

beauty is what our eyes see when beauty looks from inside out without a doubt: I see you are beautiful and see beauty too

"

in words
         grace falls
                     from the page

falling down for quite some time
                every soft silence is falling
                        every flying dream
falls swiftly down

every enjambment
               every word
                       every note
falls down
to
   your feet

where the beat
           lifts it up

                           again

where you dance
                 it up

                           again

and feel your Heart

                           again

where you lift your eyes
from the mud to the skies
looking like a fallen Angel or a dirty Saint

seeing the words
in the clouds and the rain
in the stars and galaxies filled with dust and fire
in the wars of men and the gathering of moths
in the sweetest honey mead and your broken guitar
in the sea and the wind and the shadows of the street
in the secret in your eyes

where you

                       see the spaces

                                     where my pen gently aches

I like the pieve very much. I wouldn't change a thing but I do have t ask why all the weird spacing?

Poetry rather like Truth is a fast flowing river rushing to the Sea and no man or woman steps twice in the same river 'nor plumbs the depths of the Sea without absolute surrender of where he or she stands in verity -- that we must become as the river and the Sea to see, either Truth or Poetry -- we are never 'safe' from Truth or Beauty, they may catch us at any moment -- the Poet is ever aware of the lurking beauty out there because he has been caught and overflowed in her web of connections weaving around all and everything; mingling with the serendipity of meaning tingling with eyes wide open at the profound found beauty of it all

beautifully lyric with such a rising crescendo with those final words:
where my pen gently aches

You are a master poet.

Wonderful words as music, rhythm and emotion. Splendid!

I love the formatting of this and how is really does "fall down".
My favorite is the end:
"in the secret in your eyes

where you

see the space
where my pen aches"

This is beautiful!
