The Problems We Implant

The Problems We Implant

A Poem by Alecia Noelle

The sun rises on another day,
But I look up,
And only see clouds of grey!
And though I can't,
I wish I could turn away!
I'm so worried,
What will the future grant?
What problems did we plant?
And,
With sense and decency,
So scant,
Just how much will we recant?
However,
We like to think we're clever!
We believe,
That we will find the solution,
To this endeavor!
And so,
We talk a lot,
Of how to fix the problems,
We implant!
But talk does nothing,
It fixes nothing,
Ever.
And they only do replant!
