It's Like a Mirror.

It's Like a Mirror.

A Poem by Alexis Smith
"

When I see you I see me.

"
I've taken a moment to think. Lost in my own thoughts.
When I look at you, you stare upon me curiously.
I'm puzzled by your comprehension.
When nobody is around, I think of things and a tear comes to my eye,
and there you are putting your hand on my face, staring curiously into my eyes.
When I smile at you, you smile back, then your on your way.
When I lye down to rest,
there you are sitting right beside me. Not moving one bit.
When I am mad, or angry, there you are, clutching to my side.
When I look into your beautiful brown eyes, I'm looking into my own.
Then it made sense to me.
Everything you do, is everything I did for my mother, too.
She adored me, as I adore you.
I adore your faithfulness to my side, and she did as well.
Two people fell in love and created you, but it's more than that.
I was blessed with a child born with a piece of my soul.

very peaceful if we think from our mind, it's emotional if we think from out heart
it's beautiful if we see from our eyes, it's truth if we feel it from our soul,
it's a piece if we see your this poem as a view of writer or reader,
but, it's onself a heaven if we analyse your this poem as a human....

i loved this write and moreover i loved you and love you because me too as your child and i can feel your love towards son how much you do. His's a lucky fella who's born from your eyes, born from your heart and came out and step into this world from your womb....May god live you and your son long and may god keep you always filled with all kinda happiness's.
Say, Hi, to you son to me and told him "You got an awesome and very caring mom" I don't know you'll say or not because i know we're far away from each other but, through this site i got chance to read your poems and your first poem got me.. My pleasure...:)
As a Dad this touched me. I liked all the little touches and how you brought it all together by linking the generations. Nicely done. Thank you for sharing it.
