Arm In The Wind

Arm In The Wind

A Poem by Analgesia

Wondering whether there’s something other

Than falling face first into pools

Falling face first for you

Perhaps a poets purpose is to love

Perhaps to pretend

Until then I’ll just have my arm in the wind

Reaching for passing cars and trying to forget

All the times I mistook synapses for symbiosis

This seemed like a stream of consciousness. I felt like I was supposed to rush through the first few lines, slow down completely for the two middle ones, and then just saunter through the last three.
I'm sure this review is neither insightful nor helpful. Just my thoughts.
Anyway, I liked it.

I've settle into a routine: I'll stew in my own words for a few months, then, when there's been enough rumination I'll dispatch some sort of half cocked pile of context riddled with pretension and lov.. more..
