Highschool.

Highschool.

A Poem by Alice In Wonderland

Different classes,
different faces,
All the drama,
No one hears or sees.
The way you feel inside.

This.
This is high school.
You're invisible.
Afraid, alone.

Make no mistake,
They see everything you do.
It's an educational prison.
Learning what they want you to.
Passing tests that make their pay checks.

They don't see how it destroys you,
only how you 'grow'.
They don't see the mental scars there,
the ones forming on your wrists.

They don't hear you crying,
When everything you loved turns away.
They will never understand
The pains we face between ourselves, and everything else.

We are all alone,
No struggles the same,
But today no one sees,
No one sees the way you slowly go insane.

Trying to be happy,
In the one place that it is so easily broken,
The one place you will always be left out,
No one will notice if you don't show up.

They will all see,
They will all know your name.
No one will be see that they're the reason,
The reason you've gone insane.
