Paranoid

Paranoid

A Poem by Alison Victoria
"

Is everything what we think it is?

"
I'm happy and I'm sad, all the feelings of the seasons,
But irregular is the length of all these seasons.

I jump winter to autumn, summer to spring,
I'm a flying fairy, with a broken wing.

The idea of sanity is just insanity
Insanity hidden away seems like sanity.

The face of insanity can often lack colour,
Insanities face is a short smile, wider, fuller.

Insanities face is shown through glitches and the calm,
Insanities fsce can have wrath as fierce as a ram.

Insanity could be the face of sanity,
The insane could be the only ones with sanity.

That is what i tell myself to help me sleep at night,
But sometimes my own insanity is far too bright.

Happiness, sadness, anger, emptiness and the fear.
All these faces come together to scream in my ear.
