The Big L

The Big L

A Poem by Alissa Marie Unknown
"

having a person like this in life, does not come along ever day.

"

A perfect stranger at my
first glance, got some laughs
in while chilling on the dirty
hotel floor using my hot air
to fill up one big ball.

Not much of a stranger
night went on even did
some sit ups while wrapped
around the hips broke an object
amusement over the face laughing
some more.

The sun yet to rise tripping over feet
heavy objects thrown below, up the
steps can we just go back to sleep?

The big joke of the day
who's the voice i heard and
why was it in your bed. Laughter
rings out in the air now its time to
go drink some more. Sweating and
our asses sore time once again to
head back damn what a loss i just
claimed.

Long ways to go no time for
any goodbye's next time the stranger
i was up in the darkened bar. Got the
nickname loser why do I think you
claim that more than I?

Dinner went great even more laughs
as more was said and new jokes
came about.

Reminiscing later as more beers
we downed again no goodbye's
just an embrace in the pouring
down rain.

Dive bar, nicknames used frequently,
pictures taken up on the hill
another dive more s**t spoken
can we go eat now?

Fun times up in those bars,
lounging on the couch,
still though nothing beats the
laughter the day she figured us
out.

Alright Big L you got me to smile
and forget the stupid s**t, and
for that all I want to say it was great,
oh and thanks...............
