Exit

Exit

A Poem by Brian Hall

Walking waiding through winds of change
The status quo is the new deranged
Hating hiding in my tattered skin
Rusted shackles and me become estranged
Insomnia fuels my warped sudo-reality
Static shadows surround an unknowing heart
Propaganda kills "what could have been"
Search for the exit, it's back at the start

All within my hands but just out of reach
Lifes little pleasures mean nothing to me
Alone I'm numb from the touch of christ
Alone I'm numb but the lies bring comfort to me
