Until You're Mine

 I haven't felt this happy in a long time,

It feels like I'm bursting at the seams.

In the past, I acted like a mime,

Not telling anyone my thoughts or dreams.

 

But now, such things have changed,

And you've opened me up inside.

Nothing's the same, I feel derranged,

Though in a good way, I must confide.

 

I'm falling for you even more,

You've completely sweeped me off my feet.

You know you're the one I most adore,

It seems you make me feel complete.

 

Until you're mine, I'll never give in.

Losing you, I could not stand.

I want you so much, I'll eventually win,

And maybe, someday, you'll ask for my hand.

This isn't my favourite poem, I don't think it's that good. But it's one of the first poems I ever wrote and I thought I should add it.
