The Glamour of Sin

The Glamour of Sin

A Poem by Angel Alli
"

Glamorous outside, horrible inside.

"

Glamorous are you, oh devil of mine

Adorned in false promises

Instantly alluring

Captivating my being

With soothing words and ignorant bliss

I fall to you, far too easily

The shade of sin is a beautiful one

Blinding me to the filth inside

You capture the battle with temptation really well, a real duality.

Well said, dear poet. Insightful and truthful.

Awareness is half the battle, yes? Best of luck with the other half: resistant.
