Torn

Torn

A Poem by Amy
"

Another poem that's about a character from a series I love.

"

Roses are red violets are blue,

which one do I choose?

I would like to say this doesn't conflict me,

but that wouldn't be true.

I love both of you so why must I choose?

I know the other more than you,

but you're the one I'm suppose to be married to.

God, what am I suppose to do?

I was raised into loving my fiance,

but this news is something I can't chew!

Why did this lie have to exist?

Just the thought makes me angrily brew!

I'm badly torn between which one is for me too.

The older one made me keep my secrets behind a thick layer of glue,

but the younger one still cared for me after the real me he knew.

I now know my answer so I refuse to choose.

I shall choose the older one since he is the one that's true.

About
I love to write, and I plan to make this my career somehow. I don't show it in front of anyone, but I have a very cliche way of thinking, and it's probably because I always read books. I don't have th.. more..
