feel free AFTER you think on it...
there is ALWAYS something within the lines when you think on them ya know? Still, it somehow doesn't feel like Pulitzer material though - chuckling here

Leaving things to interpretation always makes me nervous to review. The thought of someone going "wow, you are way off base" is one that causes anxiety. LOL That being said, it's after 2am here, I'm tired and I'm going to say what I thought of. I feel like an actual dog is too easy to assume. It did remind me of puppy love though. With the "puppy dog eyes", "where did she go" and those moments of excitement throughout. I don't know, don't suppose you will enlighten us? :)

It's more fun not to ...sometimes you just have to grin and bear it.

@ DYE .. I think we were separated at birth .......... You just wrote my thoughts ...
We are often at the mercy of others and we try to please, try to accommodate, go along with their games like an obedient little puppy but we still want to be who we are, not who they want us to be, and so we carry on, and complain a bit, or complain a lot, appease others to a point and then reality sets in and we realize we are to be who we are, not who someone else wants us to be - that is the ah ha moment when the PLOP comes. We are often so exasperated by that point that we exclaim that is really, really, really about time for the games to end, and one to be who they are!!........yes, 'boutdamntime!

I really like looking for the meaning between the lines - but we all have our own interpretations! You challenge us and that is a good thing!!

About dogs but not about dogs. You are a dog person obviously. But about enjoyment and surrendering to the enjoyment of another life.

Oh, to be a dog, excited about Life and its simple joys - to love so wholeheartedly, play so vibrantly, and sleep the sleep of the innocent... :) With my dog at my feet, we are both smiling at this, Chris...

it is the roll on to the back extremities flailing the air expecting the belly scratch that is the final assault on the mis...ter..ress.. that usually does the trick..

I don't like dogs..even puppies...
But I don't think they are really the subject here..

Oh those eyes..they will get to you every time..
Unless you look away ..or write a poem on the
silliness of it all........

MY tail will wag .. as long as possible Ha.. better than a wagging tongue ..I think .. ?....................me.

Eventually...they stop running in more directions than one and cease to make themselves dizzy circling and do settle and want to play...eventually :) xx
