Delightful! Such a picture of pure, blissful impatience for something so simple as attention and mutual adoration, and maybe, thereby, validation.

Definitely NOT and Arthur Dent kind of Thursday… :D

I miss my dog Chris - your descriptive powers allowed me to see yours as sure as if it was here in my house - thank you for that

I know...! Thats what I was gonna say Chris :P
giggle, this was silly, but you captured the essence of unconditional love completely, puppies and dogs are Gods you know...just spelled bassackwards, I love my dog completely, she is ever there when I need her and unassuming, undemanding, always by my side, except right now, hey where the hell is she? damn, almost always by my side. grrrrrrrrrrr

uh huh... yep.
Your poem made me smile and made me feel tired at the same time. Keeping up the puppy dog antics will surely be tiresome for both pup and master. Great metaphor, Chris, I enjoyed this poem.

I personally get the impression of a man feeling like a puppy chasing after someone - but very effective whether it be just what it is or more.

chuckling here... nice of you to pause with me, hope you come back.
LOl Chris,
I'd ask how things have been, it's been a while but I see things have been going to the dogs for you lately.
Well I'm happy for you, and I'm happy you have written about my life too.
These waggish tails and spinnettes catch my own tail creatures and squatter right lap deeds can be the best things in our life.
Fun and nice job...

Devoted loyalty of a heart to the alpha of its pack...
But then, which is which?
And who leads?
Homo sapiens or Canis lupus familiaris?
