"With Every Breath..."

"With Every Breath..."

A Poem by Chris
"

A Sun-day thought

"

"With Each Breath..."

I think of you -

and Lavender...

and hunter-green

and rust

the taste of sunlight and myst.

The scent of ever

the morns and eves

  of always...

and every shouldn't

you've ever done...

are so softly held

behind my eyes.

Such a nice poem, great job

Very insightful. It is laid back yet speaks volumes, especially in the second stanza. This is simply lovely.

This describes exactly how you feel; think and paint memories, Chris...in short; this is...YOU. I need these portraits..

This is relaxing with a hint of mischeviousness;)

.... there are times when the silence is too loud, and then I read your thoughts and hear the echoes of sighs....
