The Storm House

The Storm House

A Poem by AndBeForgotten

This wall is squaring and it too hard for me to find

The seem that leads to the end of my mind

Closing in and closing fast

Finding hard to forget the past.

And it all seems forgotten

And buried under the past puddles of rain water

my heart unsurpassed

If not so lonely, then why the same as last September

Holding onto one's embers

of a past flame remembered

All quite simple and yet not the same

Mouths open, words to proclaim

Suck it in deep, for it's the last you'll ever breathe.

Here I stand at the road, now I know I've had enough , but I cant let go

I've ran and ran but now there's nothing left behind

I see a circle with a man taking time

He keeps checking, waiting for it burn out

Tick- tick, tocking,

All the while not stopping

Its all quite simple and yet not the same

Forget what I told you, forget all those names

Its not worth remembering

It'll soak up the lot

brain of gray matter, sticky and distraught

Keep hands in your pockets, Its your greatest divide.

How crowded a room can feel, when your not at my side

How lonely I can feel when your not keeping time

I see the finger tapping, keeping sand inside

Sometimes I hear your breath when you sit at my side

And I'll wait for you to come, I'll wait for it to come.
