Pressure

Pressure

A Poem by Andrea Vargas
"

Take in to concern that bullying is stupid and is not worth losing a life for... Stop Bullying and many will prosper

"

Bliss is the fear in her eyes,

this glimmer of hope gone frail,

the last stretch of love...

All hope gone from there taunting shove

Anger is the grimace of her smile,

A deathly flat line stretched for days,

conquering all that is hate...

Unmasked tears waiting for that fatal date

Shame is the scarlet of her cheeks,

her blister cry of tears,

of the innocent truth taken to far...

Wanting to exhale oh lovely star

Freedom is the world to a fade,

a fog of memory,

the sight of a gun,

The last sigh of her life now done.

I like the intensity of your compact structure, the use of color is a nice touch. Thank you.
