These are the tears he chokes on
Thinking silently about his lost love
The very single thought of her,
Brings tears into his eyes.

These are the tears she chokes on
As she thinks about her mistakes
While she watches the sky out her window
She thinks about all she could have
And cries as she realizes what she lost.

These are the tears they choke on
While they think about their past
The single thought of one another
Brings a solemn tear to their eyes...

Oh yes indeed these are hard feeling to take. I hade to face them over the summer when I let a love of mine go, but it turned out for the best in the end as what I found was well worth the sacrifice.
