Shadows of yesterday

Shadows of yesterday

A Poem by Anne Davidson-Lamb
"

Another sad love poem about loss

"
I remember all my life,
The rain it fell as cold, like ice.
Left me with shadows within.
I cry in the night.
It's all just another day.

I stand on the edge of time,
You walked away
Now nothing feels right.
And it's so dark,
I have lost the light.

Just wish you knew,
How bad I need you.
Instead of yesterday,
being just a dream.
Cause I am running,
out of steam.
