Fish Out of WaterA Poem by AngeloRosellWhen you sin me again I won't even complain Cause you do it again Over and over Again and again Now the oceans are rising And I just wanna hold you Hold you so tight Hold you so Dear Before all that ice Heats up and melts Flooding our worlds For the very last time Drowning our lives of yesterday Yet cleansing the new Refreshing our eyes As well as our hearts Forcing our swim Against the new current Making it through Our very own way
So now you see When you sin me again I wont even complain I just want you to know Our lungs have transformed Into the gills that are needed To swim freely throughout The new world upon us Fully adapted, fully equiped The world was created For the swimmers to swim So when you sin me again I wont even complain No matter what happens I just wanna hold you Cause we are now here And no longer there Drowning in the past Like fish out of water © 2014 AngeloRosellFeatured Review
