A Free Falling Mystery

A Free Falling Mystery

A Poem by AngeloRosell

What lays beneath the shadows

Past what the eye can see

What lays nested in hiding

Who is scared of who

The shadows float all around

Brick by Brick we put up walls

Concealing potential

Re-enforcing false hope

Hearts Shake

In the realm of shadows

Picks it's teeth with our bones

Masks are worn as disguise

Yet they walk through our lives

When the sun is up high

Invitation flat in hand

Eyes burn in denial

Hate and shouts get thrown

Like Knives

But the truth is always known

Shadows rest bare and empty

A Free Falling Mystery

Until marked and labeled

With our Fears and Lies

Engraving the Name

On the shadows new Crown

What exactly our purpose on this earth, universe is we don't know, this unending quest and mystery, don't know when it will go....

I like this one a lot! I can definitely feel how this would be great to everyone but in their own little way. Very relatable and it came out nice!
And so great: "Masks are worn as disguise / Yet they walk through our lives"
