You're drowning in despair

Sinking yet unaware 

I plunge down to bring you up

It doesn't seem to be enough

What do I have to do

If I want to save you

I've tried everything I can conceive

It's all failed so helplessly

Nothing is ever any help

My hope is starting to quell

It looks like you don't even want to try 

You see no difference between death and life 

No will to survive 

No desire to thrive

Maybe you like it that way

Maybe you don't want to be saved
