Unlike You

The things not to be......are penned in this poem!

Unlike you...
I have always ASSUMED
responsibility for my actions.
I Took it on the chin with a grin
because, it was well deserved.
I've OWNED the mistakes in my life.

Due to my ability to do so,
I have grown as a better person.
Learning REAL TRUE,
Compassion for fellow humans!
         Unlike You!

I am not afraid of saying this either,
"I am sorry, and I was wrong too."
I've never heard you say sorry or,
"I was wrong, forgive and excuse me".
         Unlike Me!

I don't ever wanna to someday
grow old and bitter alone!
Because I have been so busy,
making changes in my own heart!
I hope, for the sake of all my words
you'll REMEMBER AND CONSIDER this...
Life is not all about YOU or ME !
I will NEVER be one of those fools
        JUST like YOU!
