sweet potatoe pie

sweet potatoe pie

A Poem by Anne Timmins

i love you
deeply i love many
deeply

please don't call me
director
master
or any such silly name
(even in jest)

i am not impressed
with acronyms or initials
it doesn't shake my tree

please call me

babe, sweets, honey
or any such
term of endearment
(sweet potatoe pie)

ahhh....
and then there is
music
