Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

We're all waiting,
for the end.
End of existence.
End of Eternity.

We've lived 625 years
And I've lost count of
these sinful tears.
All the things that I've

Said, and the thoughts
In their heads, and all
the pain that we've lead.

[chorus]
Goodbye to you!
Goodbye to Existence
Goodbye to Eternity.
Goodbye to 626 years
and Hello to the end!
[chorus]

I'm fading, at your side.
I'm crying, as I die.
You're holding me.
And "I love you" is the last

Thing I say before
Saying . . .

[chorus]

Baby we've lived 625
Years. Don't you think
I'm in pain to this day?
Well I am and I say,

Goodbye!
Goodbye to you all.
I'll point a gun to my head.
For all the hate that I've caused.

And I say goodbye!
Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye!!!

[chorus]

I said Hello to the end.
And goodbye
to you . . .
my friend.
