No One

No One

A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

Come to me..bring with, your sorrow and your pain
Let it all fall unto me like acid rain.

The world doesn't care,it never has
The people here won't shed a single tear.
When you look at your hands and they're bleeding
Non-stop.
Don't tell a soul because no one
Understands.

--chorus1--
Just clean up your mess and
The blood from this dress.
Sweep up the shadows and throw away the stares.
Because here I am telling you no one cares.
--chorus1--

You could die and no one would notice,no one would ask why.

You could scream and you wouldn't make a sound
Because no one's around.

Don't use that knife, because believe it or not
There is some use to life.
I said don't!!!....now,

(chorus1)

Your blood curdling screams won't ever be heard.
I told you not to use it,
Now death is all you're offered.

I did the same as you
Something I thought I'd never do.

--chorus2--
Now I must clean up my mess and the blood from my dress,
Sweep up the shadows and throw away the stares.
Because I'm telling you now,
No one cares.

--chorus2--
