I Acknowledge Your Swivel of Lies

I Acknowledge Your Swivel of Lies

A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

Twisting
Turning
Lifting
Burning

Breathing
[breathless]
Heaving
[selfless]

Intertwine
[and now you dine]

Shifting
Kissing
Drifting
Reminiscing

Biting
[lying]
Fighting
[denying]

You tangled thread:
Your actions may fuse and interplay,
But your words remain unsaid
To this very day.
