A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

Nausia washes over the now splitting tar he left behind,
Thickening the confusion shrouding my mind...

Finding empty veins - filling them with grievence,
And slowly but surely - causing my inconvinience...

Do I need him to move on, for my soul to be whole again,
Or will his riddle like ways play out until the very end..?

I'm constantly caught within a web made up of "Yes" and "No",
All of his "maybe"s have got to go..!

I've grown tired of the memories,
That seem to mock me from behind closed doors...
As I go about my daily tasks,
I see all of these "pictures" on the floors...

I hear a certain song,
- And like a pinched balloon full of cold air -
Slowly, I'm losing my ability to stand strong...
