Dream

I had a dream that started off as a promise
I had a dream that she was still here
I had a dream that we were laughing
I had a dream that she loved me
Than I woke up
I woke up at 11
I was crying
I didn't know why
Then it hit me
That my dream was from a nonexistent reality
It was a dream of a foolish man
I woke up
And I realized that she was gone
And I was now alone
I had a dream that I had her
Then I woke up
I have always been alone
