But do you need it?

But do you need it?

A Poem by King of the North (but only on weekdays)
"

A poem of bad habits

"
This obsession with possessions
Can only serve to teach us lessons
Contracts and promises
To pay week, month or yearly
Will simply serve as a reminder
And I mean this quite sincerely

Did you really need that huge flat screen TV?
Sure a big screen is quite impressive
But on a small one you'll still see

We're addicted to the Internet
Per month we gladly pay
But do you need the fastest speed?
You wouldn't use it anyway

You'll waste money on clothes that you'll probably never wear
But then when money's tight you'll say
Oh whys life so unfair?

Splashing out can be fun
But it soon costs a ton
The bills will soon stun
And your mind will be spun

The next time you think of buying, just think
On the list is it primary?
If not, it's cut, that simple
Cause it's really not necessary
