Smile if you want change

Smile if you want change

A Poem by *AnYBOdY ThERe?*

I've always found the world quite dry
Death here, death there, everyone must be left to cry
So then I think again what can I do to bring happiness, how must I try
Then I met the most peculiar looking guy
And he said that the world is a product of our expectation of the worst
People assume that it's easier to just act like you're cursed
Like you have no choice but to go and sin
You transform by the full moons awful whim
So then he said go and change the world
Smile instead of frown, it'll take the world for a twirl
I wondered if it was as easy as that
So then I smiled and found that the world smiled back

An unusual idea, but very true, and also beautifully written.
