A confession

Why should I be the only to say
The words are in your mind, still you delay
What you know will happen, what you know you want to do
What we all want
To be true
To ourselves
We hide thoughts to be polite, hold words to stay correct
While our image remains intact, our minds become a wreck
Because you can't truly progress when you still regret
So with this simple poem I declare what is on my mind
So that I may have peace and do something else with my time
Everyone is a hypocrite, most people are full of s**t
Although some try to hide it, some can care less
All it comes down to, is if they're brave enough to confess
