Ocean of Possibilities

I always used to know

what I wanted

but now I don’t

I simply don’t know

and my not knowing

stretches out in front of me

a vast seemingly endless ocean

with hidden possibilities

lurking beneath

its calm surface

Oh-my-gosh...I sat over coffee and read your work and I didn't make the connection...I like the image and emotion you offer with your words...your poem has more of a profound meaning because of your broaader view of life and the possibilities life offers as the subject...whereas, my subject is concerning the possibilities of thought and imagination when it comes to writing...I do believe the emotion is similar, maybe we were in the same state of mind when we were writing :o)

Ocean Life....cuttlefish swimming at varying heights, darting in and out the reefs...changing colour from time to time for the hell of it.
