Buster Brown

feeling silly-ever have one of these days?

Buster Brown barely built his bed

-by hitting the hammer upside his head.

His screwdriver sideways, now stuck in the screw

wishing Wally was here-he’d know what to do.

 

But, Buster banged, screwed and he bled

foolishly following what the instructions said.

 

Finally finished-all full of pride

he hopped on the bed to go for a ride.

He fumbled and tumbled-bruises galore

mumbling and moaning he couldn’t take anymore.

 

 

Buster packed up his stuff and returned to the store

proudly proclaiming he’d sleep on the floor!

I love this April, ive read before and felt the humor, while laughing at myself (I can totally relate, so hopeless with flat packs;) but this time I reread wondering what you had changed and got to hear your humor in the way it was said :)

you have so many different styles and im yet to find fault in a single one...

So like all men he wouldnt read instructions or ask for directions lol It is the nature of man to say he knows what he is doing all the while bluffing his way through life I would be as all men are Guilty as charged

sad thing is he WAS following the instructions... This came about after I bought something and was sooo dang confused by what it was telling me to do and why it was telling me in the most idiotic way.. Who writes those things anyway... It is like they want you to mess up.. They are somewhere just laughing.. But yes, men are definitely like that... shame shame on you.. lol

I don't think degrees help with that.. jeez.. it is always so confusing.. something as simple as bookshelves turned into a two day fiasco where I eventually had to call in reinforcements cause apparently it was too complicated for this nurse... :(

I knew a buster once, he was a little yellow dog... about the size of a cow boy boot. Buster always went up to the electric fence, just to get a buz.

There is a family tradition of building Ikea furniture with my youngest daughter, it seems like every time I visit her, we are assembling something. Earlier this year we were building a kitchen cart, after tightening 97 allan key screw, and wearing out my thumb and fingers, we found a small plastic piece in the box. What did we miss? Re-read the instructions, only to find the plastic piece is a handle for the allan key, so as to not wear out your thumb and fingers! : )
