By the Will of the RhymerA Poem by Archishman Rick
Through every scramble and rummage,
His findings did make him wiser, On their heap he found an image, Of the pile still growing higher. The art of belonging nowhere, He learned so his reach got wider, When bits were too heavy to bear, He let them flow through a rhymer. With every shade of life's image, He scanned the lighter and darker, As they reflected his visage, His teary smile sparkled richer. When his rainbow mountain was scaled, He wished to soar as a glider, With the goddess as she still sailed, Fond of the will of the rhymer. © 2020 Archishman RickFeatured Review
