Out of Sight

Out of Sight

A Poem by Aren
"

is the mist in the front of the window still taunting you? A beautiful shimmering fog, like smoke, blocking your eyes from sneaking a peak at what lies beyond these windows, beyond these four walls

"
is the mist in the front of
the window
still taunting you?

A beautiful shimmering
fog,
like smoke,
blocking your eyes
from sneaking a peak
at what lies
beyond these windows,

beyond these four walls
where you used to have it all.
the hypnotic booming
as the stereo blares,
A smile, more than stunning,
her long, blackened hair
draping the front of your face.

you're hiding away from the sight
of a love that you were once bound to.
you block out your sight
with a mist of despair,
you block out your mind
with ignorance
when only moments before
you were calling her Bliss.
