No End

No End

A Poem by Ariel Nicole

Nothing could stop her.

No One could hold her back.

She stood up to everyone

because courage she did not lack.

But though she was courageous

and no one could stop her dream.

She felt lost when all alone

so she found a reason to scream.

She screams because of that night

the night she acted so tough.

And though she stood up for herself,

something went wrong; it got rough.

Now at night, she hides away.

Afraid to sleep, to close her eyes.

She lays there under the covers

as time goes by, as it flies.

She lays and hungers

Her strength all but lost.

Because her change wasn't free.

Her sanity was the cost.

Her story has no end.

No way to end her life.

Her fangs extend so sharply

like the point of a knife.
