Bonnie & Clyde

Bonnie & Clyde

A Poem by Ariel Olivia

You'll be Clyde
& I'll be Bonnie
Before you know it
We'll have all the money
We'll have all the riches in the world
We'll avoid old dirt roads & bridges too
We'll take the highway where ever we go
People will know; sirens blaring & people screaming
No one will be sleeping
Because when we come through
They'll be running too
Like I said, you'll be Clyde
& I'll be Bonnie
& We'll be a legend
& Our where-abouts will be foggy.

You are much more talented and
much prettier than Bonnie, but
you have created just as much interest
and your adventure and daring are a
match for anyone.
This is exceptionally exciting writing.
I will come back for more.
Thank you,
---- John

The title got my attention so many stories have been written this is the first poem I’ve read about the dynamic duo, I’m sure there many floating around but I like how this piece comes together short and to the point Oh and the ending, nice touch.
