Goodnight Darling

Goodnight Darling

A Poem by Ariel Olivia
"

Tequila induced madness.

"

If a man tells a lie, enough times
Then he eventually thinks it to be true
Could this very well be a clever disguise of his life?
A temporary veil, so no one can recognize...
the awful things he's done.

I've fallen into a deep, comfortable sleep
a slight cold breeze washes over me
I feel as though, how I might imagine Juliet felt
That fateful, poisonous night
drifting off into another world
Reaching out for the closest dream
to escape all the reality...

I'm gone now, never to return
Keep me in your memories

Goodnight darling, g'night.
