Ode to Caffeine!

I wrote this piece because when I literally take a sip of coffee I jump all over the place sometimes anyways lol XD But it was a lot of fun writing it.

             Ode to caffeine! I’m so high up!

         Sugary bliss that makes me jump up,

                 See as I walk, see as I talk,

                     See as I speed it all up.

                        No hiding for me,

                     Cause I’m sure to run,

                        As I feel pulsation,

               Run to my head, down to my toes. 

     Let everyone know that my body is shaking,

                        For there is no way,

                       That I’ll be staying.

        Ode to caffeine! What a rush you give!

                  Let all them stare in wonder,

                      As I am free to wander, 

                 To dance with such laughter,

                         I go up in a leap,

                There’s no stopping this ride,

                       For everywhere I go,

                        It will all be alright. 

                Ode to caffeine! You had me go around!

                     

                       Now, it’s time I drop to bed,

                  

                       Still to restless to be dead,

     

        But come to the morning, I’ll take another taste,

           

          And there I will go charging, with no time to waste.
