Alba gu brath agrave;th! (Scotland for ever!) (W.I.P.)

A Poem by Ewen A Morrison
"

Alba/Scotland is recognisable to this poet, as Ewen has been aware of both PHRASES being the same, in bilingual terms, of course!

"

Scotland/Alba, lovely country, our "Earthlings",
Whatever else we're called... everyone sings!
Scotland's been a nation long before the U.K.
Our Gaelic refers to us as 'Alba', as may say?

Alba gu bràth!: Scotland for ever - motto,
This isn't a modern philosophy - "no lotto"!
Alba's spirit threads through known history,
And will eternally wind and weave its story!

Every generation sees fresh chapters then,
While evolution winds onwards; living zen,
Realizations gradually ripen - minds reborn;
Same world, new outlooks, reaping our corn!

(Saoirse: freedom, liberty & redemption)
